We take the security of your valuables seriously: whether it’s cargo, craft or crew.
We are committed to working closely with governments, port facilities and partner marine companies to detect potential security threats and do whatever we can to prevent security incidents. At every level of business we follow stringent security policies and procedures, offer an aggressive training program, and implement a strict schedule of regular drills and exercises.
Our security personnel
Atlantic Towing Limited employs three Company Security Officers (CSO) and 67 Vessel Security Officers (VSO), certified to the requirements of the International Ship & Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code, adopted by the International Maritime Organization (International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), Chapter XI).
All our subject vessels have established Vessel Security Plans, in compliance with, and where applicable certified to, the International Ship & Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code and the Canadian Marine Transportation Security Regulations (MTSR).
